Friendly adorable little shop in Belfast

I was visiting from Canada and I love to check out local yarn shops when I'm in other countries. Folklore Yarns was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. A beautiful selection of Irish and British yarns that we don't see back in Canada. Sarah was the loveliest person to chat with and she set my husband and cousin up with tea while I shopped. I brought home some beautiful yarn to start two new projects. I highly recommend this friendly and adorable little shop in Belfast and will be back when I am visiting my Irish family again.

Best I've ever visited!

I travel the world for yarn stores, and this might just be the best I've ever visited! Not only is Folklore well stocked with an amazing variety of yarns, the cafe aspect sets it apart. The customers and proprietors made us feel as if we'd visited their home. Two stories of luxurious fiber and related items. Delicious snacks. Easy parking, or a quick Uber (or walk) from the center of town. LOVE this place! Worth a visit to Belfast just to go!!

Such a brilliant shop

Such a brilliant shop. Fantastic range of wools, needles and notions combined with yarn craft books and patterns. Coffee and cakes, and plenty of space to simply sit down and knit or crochet amongst similar like minded folk. Truly helpful and friendly staff. What's not to like?

One of the best yarn shops

One of the best yarn shops and my personal favourite. Run by the most wonderful people and filled with the most gorgeous yarn. I wish more people knew about it because honestly it's fabulous. The atmosphere is so cosy and inviting and I'd spend all my time there if I could, unfortunately it's a bit out of the way for me but I make a point of visiting when I can. And every time it's the best. And their website is fantastic too, if you aren't local! Could not recommend more!
