A FRIENDLY WELCOME AWAITS YOU FROM KAREN AND KIRSTY!

OUR ETHOS
At Folklore Yarns, we believe that the best yarns come from as close to home as possible. We're passionate about celebrating the natural fibres and traditional craftsmanship from the Irish and UK landscape — from the fleece to the finished skein. We seek out yarns that are honest, beautiful, and kind to the earth, working with producers who share our love of slow, sustainable making. Whether you're a seasoned knitter or just picking up your first pair of needles, you'll always find a warm welcome here.
COME IN, STAY A WHILE
No visit to Folklore Yarns is complete without a cup of something delicious! We always have fresh coffee on the go, and you'll usually find delicious gluten free buns waiting to be enjoyed. Pull up a chair, browse the shelves, and let the inspiration flow — we love nothing more than a good natter over a cuppa.
GETTING HERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Glider G1 leaves the City Centre with a bus stop just around the corner from us — the closest stop is Holywood Arches.
Metro Pink Bus services 3a and 3b also leave the city and stop at Holywood Arches.
ARRIVING BY CRUISE SHIP?
We're only about 2 miles from Belfast Harbour, so a taxi is your easiest option.
