"On a visit to a small seaside town, I noticed a woman hurrying down the street. She was wearing rather ratty-looking jeans, paired with a striped cardigan and a prominent pearl necklace. So effortless and chic was the look, I immediately wanted to recreate it. Over time, the cardigan took on a life of its own in my mind’s eye. I could hardly remember what the original looked like; what inspired me was the feeling it gave me. I decided to make it textured and jacket-like, yet slouchy - maximising that effect of appearing almost unintentionally pulled-together. The result: a design that’s as easy to make as it is to wear. Knit it quickly in ‘mindless’ garter stitch, then wear it with jeans and pearls (J&P) - or any sartorial setup of your choosing!"

Fit Recommendation: Approximately 15cm/ 6” of ease is recommended. To determine your size: Measure your chest circumference. Then, referring to bodice circumference, select size which measures at least 15cm/ 6” greater than your chest circumference.
